Available beers

2018 Edition Yoghurt & Bruesli 8%% Multigrain Sour Ale This annual brew was brewed back in July 2018. The Brettanomyces bruxellensis slowly transforms the beer over maturation, so it's great to try this alongside our 2019 edition.
BB6 6%% Brett-fermented Biere de Garde Matured in stainless for 14 months, this is a more malty take than the classic pale Saisons. Fermented with Brettanomyces bruxellensis.
Bucket Fountain 5.2%% Vatted Saison Benefitting from a year in stainless, this traditional Saison rides the fine line between simplicity and complexity, with a wide range of yeast aroma and flavour compounds.
Egmont St. Dark Saison 4.5%% Dark Saison Made originally for a collaboration with the amazing Egmont St. Eatery here in Wellington (this was included with their head chef, Adam Brack-Sinnott's house-made cola syrup in incorporated into an ice-block for our collab!), this is a straight-up Saison... just a little darker than you may be used to for the style.
Bretty Boop 6.1%% Brett-fermented Old Ale with Angostura Just before it reaches the ripe old age of 18 months, we thought we'd crack this for the event. With hints of the classic Flander's beers, this shows impressive, yet rounded acidity and a wonderful twang of herbal bitters. Give it a go with a dash of Angostura for added depth of flavour!
Karori Wild Ale 6.6%% Wild Ale This Roeselare-yeast blend fermented Wild Ale also contains Brettanomyces lambicus as well as the local microflora of my Karori home! Yet another reason that neighbours are great! Kelly Ryan's neighbour, Craig, donated just over 10kg of local damson plums that were added to this Wild Ale at the beginning of lockdown. Fast forward a few months, and this remarkably complex wild ale is ready to go!
For Example 5.2%% Bretted Pale Ale A nice little Brett-bomb with the subtle addition of both horopito and local kawakawa.
The Kids from O.W.L. 5.3%% Oaked Wild Lager Beginning life as the wort from our Hardpour Corn (a Maize Lager), this was fermented on the wild lees from a previous barrel-fermented sour beer. Fast forward two-and-a-half years of barrel time in an ex-French Oak barrique, which originally held Martinborough Pinot Noir, and this is the outcome!
Intimations of Immortality 3.0%% Belgian Table Beer An homage to the table beers of Belgium. Often lower in strength for serving to all family members at the dinner table, this clean, slightly soured homage to this style is fermented solely with the Roeselare yeast blend that emulates the classic beers of the West Flanders region. With the lightest addition of creamy oats to balance out the palate.
Linck's Snake 4.5%% Wild Ale fermented on whole raspberries A combination of bacteria and wild yeast strains as well as some yummy NZ grown raspberries as resulted in this beautiful ale. An homage to Cantillon's Rose de Gambrinus - a fave of the brewer's!
