We're a small brewery, located in an old petrol station in Wellington. It's an unlikely place for a brewery but our aim in the Garage is to create unique and beautiful beers. We like pushing boundaries, reinterpreting styles and challenging the notions of what beer can be. We're here to try something new. Just like you.

Double Pernicious Weed 10% Double Monster Hop IIPA A very special edition of a Garage favourite, celebrating ten years of our own wicked and Pernicious Weed. Brewed to be bigger, with double the synergistic dry hop hit of Freestyle grown Nelson Sauvin and Rakau hops. More malt, more hops and even more mouth watering bitterness, juicy grapefruit and citrus flavour and ripe passion fruit aroma. Intense? Definitely. Too much? Never.
10 10% Hazy Birthday IIPA A big celebration demands a big beer. 10: the name says it all. A huge, hazy IIPA brewed with pilsner malt, wheat, and oats, and lit up with ten different hop additions - no two the same. Starting in the mash, continuing through the kettle, whirlpool, and multiple additions to the fermenter, everything from hop pellets to cryo, incognito, and aromatic hop extracts pack this beer to the brim. It’s a party in a can. Join us in celebrating ten years of Garage Project.
Yuzu Rising Sun 4.5% Yuzu & Raspberry Layered Wild Sour We have a bit of a thing for Yuzu at the Garage. If you haven't come across Yuzu before, it's a Japanese citrus, like an ugly lemon, with the most devine flavour and aroma. We've been lucky enough to hook up with a lovely bloke called Neville Chun who grows the fruit locally. I think we now single handedly use his whole crop. It's probably fair to say that it's a love hate relationship with Yuzu - we love how it tastes in beer but the process of zesting and juicing the volumes of fruit necessary is arduous to say the least - just ask any of the Garage staff who have been press ganged into it over the years.
Super Luxe: Strawberry Mango 5% Fruit Dipped Smoothie Wild Sour Yes, it's fruited sour beer, but not as you know it. Super Luxe, a fresh fusion of fruit puree and sour beer, blended and packed to lock in all its natural sugars. Almost one and a half serves of fruit in every can creates a unique mouthwatering combination of juicy sweet and tart flavours that's part sour beer, part fruit smoothie. Keep cold and enjoy fresh.

Feed the Beast 12.5% Vanilla Infused, Bourbon Aged Beast Born of no less than eight different malts and toasted grains, fed to monstrous size using a unique fermentation process, hidden in bourbon barrels for over two years and then infused with a decadent dose of whole vanilla pods. The result is a true thing of awe. Behold the beast.
Two Tap Mocha 7% Two beers, brewed to be blended. Two beers, brewed to be blended. A strong shot of chocolate & coffee Imperial Stout topped up with a velvety smooth Milk Cream Ale poured on nitro. Served with chocolate powder and marshmallows.
