Beervana Like a Boss With These Handy Hints
Whether this is your first rodeo or you’re a seasoned Beervana ninja, check out these pro tips to make sure you get the most out of the ultimate celebration of good beer!
Peruse the Brews
The beer list is live and with more than 300 tasty brews to try it can be a little overwhelming! That’s where wishlisting comes in. As you scroll through the list you can save the ones you’re keen on, so you’ll be fully prepared by the time you make the pilgrimage to Sky Stadium. Beervana is a chance to try something new, so don’t be afraid to branch out from your usual brews!

Pick Your Path
Once you know the brews and breweries you’re keen to check out you can use the festival map and start to plot your way around the wonderful world of Beervana. It’ll also help you find food, water stations and toilets - all very important!
Pay With Ease
Beervana is cashless, so you won’t need to fumble about with notes and change, and you don’t have to worry about a pre-loaded wristband. Just tap and go with your eftpos, debit or credit card, with no surcharges. Sweet!
Dress for Success
Comfy shoes are key for Beervana! With so many incredible breweries to check out (and awesome bands to groove to) you’ll be surprised at how many steps you take over a session. The weather forecast’s looking a bit dicey so don’t forget your raincoat for the trip to and from the stadium - you’ll be able to leave it at our coat rack once you get in!
Food, Glorious Food
It’s really important to eat while you’re making your way through the line up of delicious brews. Fortunately, the food on offer is INCREDIBLE, so it’s basically a win-win. Imagine whitebait sammies from Boulcott St Bistro, plump Pierogies from the Little Polish Kiosk, or beef short-rib birria tacos from the team at Birria & BBQ by Bacon Bros!
Stay Hydrated
There are a number of water stations around the concourse, so make sure you’re drinking heaps of water throughout the session. Feeling Competitive?
There’s heaps of ways to test your skills on the concourse. See if you can take out the title at the Cello National Cornhole Championships, or try your hand at ping pong with the team from Radio Hauraki. Solve all the clues to complete the Sunshine Coast Scavenger Hunt, and be into win a trip to Australia’s Craft Beer Capital.
If competition’s not your thing you can check out the weird and wonderful entertainment, up your home brew game with the team from Brew Shop, or pick up some of the sweet brewery merch on offer!
Keep it Cool
Beer is for everyone and so is Beervana. We’re really proud of the friendly and inclusive crowd that joins us each year, so let’s keep it that way and make sure everyone has an awesome, safe time. If you spot anything questionable happening, let a member of the Beervana team know and we’ll get it sorted. And as always, don’t be a dick.
Get Home Safely
There’s heaps of easy ways to get to and from Sky Stadium with trains and buses aplenty from Wellington Station. There’s a dedicated drop zone for taxis and Ubers. We don’t mind which option you choose, but make sure you have a solid plan to get home at the end of your session. And don’t drink and drive (obviously).
